SEAMwork and MORE, In this hands-on, minds-on learning camp, students will be fully engaged in sewing small projects. Each day, campers will complete one to two hand sewing projects. Students will learn four hand stitches, while enjoying a sense of accomplishment for each piece completed. Projects will include a color wheel, a pincushion, a zippered bag, yo-yo’s, luggage tags, a quilt block, just to name a few. The skills that they learn in this class will help them have a sense of satisfaction that they can create using thread and needle. Very basic sewing machine skills will be taught.
